Billy McMahon’s parliamentary career began in 1950 and included the portfolios of Minister for
Navy, Air, Social Services, Primary Industry, Labour and National Service, Treasurer and External
Affairs and Prime Minister from 1971–1972 – which are all represented in the NFSA collection.
