Australia's Prime Ministers

Kevin Rudd entered Federal Parliament in 1998, and served as Shadow Minister for Foreign
Affairs, International Security and Trade from 2001. In 2006 he was elected Leader of the
Australian Labor Party whom he led to an election win in November 2007.
Rudd was sworn in as Australia’s 26th Prime Minister on 3 December 2007.
