Synopsis
A suburban love story that charts the romance between Patricia (Wendy Hughes), a 30-year-old dowdy and sexually repressed clerk, who meets through a dating agency, Peter (Norman Kaye), a 55 year old piano tuner. The film examines this awkward love affair with humour and tenderness as their affection for each other deepens while they cope with the difficulties and disruptions from their overbearing family members.
