Synopsis
Based on David Williamson's play, The Club offers a nostalgic view of the passionate game of Australian Rules football. The Club is about the rise of a struggling football club in Melbourne. When one of the players demands a higher price, the Club's management have different ideas. The combination of behind-the-scenes internal politicking in the boardroom and the actual football footage creates a fast-paced and sometimes amusing look at how things were in this arena of sport.
