National Film and Video Lending Service (NFVLS)
The NFSA has managed the National Film and Video Lending Service from July 2004. As of 1 July 2008, the Australian Government transferred ownership of this collection from the National Library of Australia to the NFSA.
The 16,000 plus titles are now part of the National Collection and are cared for and preserved in accordance with the NFSA’s Statement of Curatorial Values (PDF 11.2 KB).
The NFSA will continue to provide a high quality service, lending licensed titles to registered organisations. For more information on loans for non-commercial and educational screenings go to non-theatrical loans.
